Mode: Selects the operating mode
The "auto" mode is a built in feature activated from the hand held remote unit only. Under "auto" mode, your unit will automatically select the required operating mode based on temperature selection. Dehumidifying mode is not operational under the “auto” mode function.The main unit will respond automatically, switching appropriately between modes
Fan: Selects fan speed settings

NOTE: The “Auto” fan speed setting is equivalent to “Medium” fan speed.
Used to adjust (increase) both time of day clock settings and temperature settings.
(1 min. increments) for time of day clock settings. (1° increments) on the Celsius scale.
(2° increments) on the Fahrenheit scale.
TEMP/TIMER
Used to adjust (decrease) both time of day clock settings and temperature settings.
(1 min. increments) for time of day clock settings. (1° increments) on the Celsius scale.
(2° increments) on the Farenheight scale.
Lower Control Buttons
(Under Lower Sliding Cover)
Swing: Used to activate automatic air swing (oscillating) feature (70° swing).
Set: Used to lock/register time of day setting.
Clock: Used to initiate time of day clock setting.
L:(Lock) Used to lock a selected program mode (Against accidental program change).
R:
˚C/˚F: Used to select temperature settings in either “Celsius” or “Farenheight”.
To operate the remote, you will require two “AAA” Alkaline batteries (included).
Batteries should be replaced when:
a)No signal (beep) is heard while attempting to program the main unit.
b)No symbol “ ” appears in the remote LCD window when a command is initiated.
Battery replacement:
1.Slide the lower control cover on the remote down until it stops. Continue pulling (gently) until the lower section separates completely from the unit.
2.Insert batteries (AAA) as depicted inside the battery
3.
4.If the remote control is not being used for extended periods of time (vacations etc.), batteries should be removed.
The remote operates within a range of 7 meters
(23 ft.) from the receiver located inside the main unit. Any obstruction between the receiver and remote may cause signal interference, limiting the ability to program the main unit.
NOTE: The illuminated control panel feature on the main unit is not operational when setting functions using the remote control unit. (this is normal)
