6.1 Conversational Programming

Getting Started

Program blocks are written using the Edit button. Regardless whether a new program is being created, or an existing program is being edited.

See “Accessing Program Management” on page 88. Information for creating a new, or editing an existing program is explained in this section.

When in the Program Manager, having the program selected, touch the Edit button. The program will open in the display, and can now be edited.

If it is preferred to edit a program in Draw mode, touch the Draw button. Edit mode can be selected at anytime while in Draw mode.

As described above, use either of the following methods to enter Edit mode.

Direct:

Select the Program Management button.

Select the program for editing (example program shown).

Touch the Edit button in the bottom menu bar to enter the program edit mode.

From Draw:

Select the Program Management button.

Select the program for editing (example program shown).

Touch the Draw button in the bottom button Tool-bar, to enter the draw program.

From the Draw Program, touch the Edit button in the bottom menu bar to enter the Edit mode at any time.
