Chapter 11. Testing

DSX Loopback

A DSX LOOPBACK test allows the user to initiate a loopback test at the DSX-1interface.

Select NONE to stop a test in progress.

Line

Select LINE to execute a line loopback test at the DSX-1port. During this test, data loops back toward the terminal equipment (usually a PBX) connected to the DSX-1port.

Port

Select PORT to execute a port loopback test at the DSX-1port.

During this test, data loops back toward the network interface.
