Chapter 3 Front-Panel Menu Operation

A front-panel menu tutorial

Menu Example 2 Some commands in the menu require that you enter a numeric parameter value. The following steps show you how to enter a number in the menu. For this example, you will change the output amplitude.

Ampl	1 Select amplitude adjustment

The function generator displays the current output amplitude.

2Move the flashing cursor over to edit the first digit. The cursor movement wraps around.

3Increment the first digit until 300.0 mVPP is displayed. 1

The output amplitude of the function changes as you adjust the displayed value.

1You can also use the knob and arrow keys to enter a number.
