The parallel po rt appe ars on J15. Its pin out on J15 is arranged so that a 26- pin ribbon cable
attached to J15 can be directly connected to a 25-pin DB-25 connector to match the PC standard
pinout. Table 2-21 shows the manufacturer’s part numbers for mating connectors. Table 2–22 giv es
the connector pinout and signal definitions for the parallel port.
In addition, the table indicate s the pin s to which e ach signal mu st be wire d for co mpatibility with a
standard DB25 connector. Normally the PC parallel port uses a female “DB“ connector.
