Making a set of disks

To use the Floppy Disk Maker program to make your system software disks, follow these instructions:

1With your computer turned off, connect it to the Duo Dock Plus, or to the Duo MiniDock or the Duo Floppy Adapter and external floppy disk drive.

If you need instructions for connecting an external floppy disk drive, see Chapter 3, “Connecting Additional Equipment.”

2Turn on the computer.

3Locate the Floppy Disk Maker program (inside the Floppy Disk Maker folder, in the Utilities folder on your hard disk) and double-click its icon to open it.

You can find Floppy Disk Maker in either the Applications/Utilities section of Software Highlights or in the Floppy Disk Maker folder (inside the Utilities folder) on your hard disk. (See “Using Software Highlights” earlier in this chapter for more information.)

When the program opens, the following dialog box appears on your screen:
