Exposure compensationAltering the depth of field

Typical

Differences in exposure, such as occur when moving from outdoor to indoor in one take, can be easily, accurately and repeatedly compensated for using the WRC-1.

A user defined program, which can be repeatedly activated, is used to control either the iris or the shutter angle of the mirror shutter – in this case the visible depth of field of the image does not change.

Intentional adjustment of the depth of field at a constant camera speed is another option available with the WRC-1. In this case the mirror shutter angle is adjusted, using the WRC-1, and the resulting difference in exposure is automatically compensated with the iris of the lens.
