• Uninstall button. deletes the app a nd all of its data and
settings.
• Disable button. Prevents the app f rom running, but doe s not
uninstall it. This optio n is available for some a pps and servic -
es that can’t be uninstall ed.
• Clear data button. delete an app’s set tings and other data
without removing the app itself.
• Clear cache button. if th e app stores data in a temp orary area
of the tablet’s memory, li sts how much informati on is stored,
and includes a button for c learing it.
• Launch by default. If you have c ong ured an app to l aunc h cer-
tain le types by default , you can clear that s etting here.
• Permissions. Lists the kinds of informa tion about your tabl et
and data the app has access to.
