optimize battery life

To control battery settin gs, go to Settings > Device > Batter y.
You can extend your batter y’s life between c harges by turni ng off
features that you don’t nee d. You can also monito r how apps and
system resources consum e battery powe r.

Extend the life of your batter y

• if you aren’t using Wi- Fi, bluetooth, or GPs, us e the settings
app to turn them off. The GPs se tting is located in Se ttings >
Personal > Location services.
• don’t leave the Maps or Navig ation apps open on the sc reen
when you’re not using them . They use GPs (and thus more
power) only when they’re running.
• Turn down screen brightnes s and set a shorte r sleep timeout:
Settings > Device > Display.
• if you don’t need it, turn of f automatic syncing for all a pps:
