Work with CA certicates
If a certicate author ity (CA) certi cate gets compro mised, or for
some other reason your org anization doesn ’t want to trust it, you
can disable or remove it. To do so, fol low these steps:
1. Tou ch Settings > Personal > Security > Cre dential stor-
age >Trusted credentials. The trusted credentials screen has
two tabs:
System displays certic ate authority (CA) c erticates tha t are
permanently install ed in the RoM of your tab let.
User displays any CA certi cates that you have in stalled your-
self, for example in the process of installing a client certi cate.
2. To exam ine the details of CA c erticate, to uch its name.
A scrolling screen disp lays the details.
3. To remove or disable a CA cer ticate, scroll dow n to the bot-
tom of the details screen and t ouch either Disable for syste m
certicates or remove for u ser certic ates.
When you disable a system CA c erticate, the button at the
bottom of its details scree n changes to Enable, so you can
enable the cer ticate agai n if neces sary. When you remove a
user-installed CA certicate , it is gone permanently and must
be re-installed if yo u want it back.
4. I n the conrmatio n dialog that app ears, click oK.
