After completing the se tup process , you’ll enco unter several ov er-
lays that explain how to use vari ous features on your table t. To
dismiss an overlay, swipe rig ht and double -tap oK.
Use TalkBack
Talkback provides spoken fe edback to help you navigate your
tablet, describing w hat you touch and ac tivate.
note: sighted assistance is n eeded for user s with no vision to en -
able Talkback if it wasn’t turn ed on during the i nitial setup.
To turn Talkback off or on:
1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack.
2. s lide the Talkback swi tch to the on or off position.
3. To uch oK to turn on Talkback .
4. W hen asked if you want to en able explore by Touch , touch oK
only if you want to change the way yo ur tablet works a nd have
your tablet descri be each item th at your nger moves over on
the screen.
When you turn on Talkback, s poken feedbac k starts immed iately.
As you navigate your tablet , Talkback describ es your actions an d
alerts you of noticati ons and other occu rrences.
If you also enabl ed Explore by Touch, movi ng your ng er around
the screen triggers a de scription of eac h item it touches. d ouble-
tap activates the las t spoken item , and swipe w ith two nge rs to
perform swiping acti ons that normall y require just on e nger.
