To change yo ur tablet’s noti cation sound s, vol-
umes, and more, go to Settings > Device >
Sound.
To change your tablet’s brig htness, font size, and
more, go to Settings > Device > Display.
Try Face Unlockdepending how you use you r tablet, you may want to set some
form of automatic screen l ock to prevent unau thorized access . if
a lock has been set, the scr een locks when your ta blet’s display
goes to sleep.
When you touch the power but ton to wake up a locked ta blet, you
must take some action, ra nging from a simple swi pe to typing a
lengthy password, to unlo ck it.
You can set locks of differen t strengths using your ta blet’s lock
settings. To do so, go to Settings > Personal > Securi ty >
Screen lock and touch the t ype of lock you’d like to u se.
Face unlock is one of the opti ons available. Af ter you’ve set it up,
you can unlock your table t simply by lookin g at it. Although Fa ce
unlock is not very secu re, it can be conven ient and fun to use.
Give it a try. Go to the Screen lock setting descr ibed above, touc h
Face unlock, and follow t he instructio ns.
TIP: After you se t up Face unlock, look unde r Settings >
Personal > Security for two additional settin gs: Improve
face matching and Liveness check. use these to make Face
unlock more reliable an d secure.
