• When a Trafc card appe ars for home or work, touch Menu
> Edit.
• Open th e Latitude app, n d your own location , touch your
name on the map, and then Loc ation history > Chang e home
location / Change work location.
• Visit maps.google.com from a browser and open M y Places.
• Visit https://www.google.com/latitude/b/0/history/dashboard
from a browser, click Change next to T ime at Work or Time at
Home, edit the address , and click Save.
You can turn off and delete your l ocation history and still u se
Google Now, but certain k inds of information , such as commute
trafc, may be limited or wo n’t show up at all.
Turn off location reporting & h istory
To turn off both location repo rting and locatio n history from the
Google Now screen:
1. Tou ch Menu > Setting s > Privacy and acco unts > Manage lo ca-
tion settings.
This brings you to the setti ngs screen for Google Ma ps. You
may have to sign in to Google Maps if yo u haven’t done so
already.
2. To uch Location settings.
3. To tur n off location report ing, touch Location reporting > Do
not update your location.
4. To tur n off location his tory, uncheck Enable location history.
Delete location history de tails
even if you turn off both loca tion reporting and l ocation history,
your previously record ed history is still availa ble to Google ser-
vices such as Google Now.
