To view mobile hotspot settin gs, touch Menu > Mobile
hotspots.
Near the top of the screen, no te the data usage cycle . Touch it to
choose a different cycl e. This date range is th e period of time for
which the graph displays d ata usage.
The vertical white line s on the graph show a p eriod of time with in
the data usage cycle. This r ange determines the usa ge amount
displayed just below the gr aph. drag lines to c hange the perio d.
View data usage by app
some apps transfer data in t he background — t hat is, when you ’re
not actually using the app , it may download data for futu re ref-
erence. some apps allow yo u to restrict backgro und data usage
from the app’s own settings . Touch the graph for any app in th e
bottom part of the scree n for more usage details a nd access to
its settings.
Set auto-sync
You can also conserve data usa ge by syncing your a pps manual-
ly, only when you need the data , rather than rel ying on auto-s ync.
To turn auto-sync off or on , touch Menu > Auto-sync data.
