Switching TIM on / off, changing the recording standby time

When the car radio is switched on, you can turn the TIM function on / off as follows.

1Press the T button 9.

✔The traffic menu appears in the display.

2Keep pressing the softkey associated with the TIM menu item until the required option 2H (for 2 hours recording standby), 24H (for 24 hours recording standby) or OFF appears.

Note: You can also switch TIM off by keeping the T button 9 pres- sed for longer than two seconds whilst the traffic menu is being displayed.

If TIM is switched on, the traffic information provided by a tuned traffic informa- tion station will be recorded after the unit is switched off.

TIP: You can also set TIM recording standby mode when you switch the unit off.

✔When you switch the unit off, GOODBYE appears in the display together with the options for setting TIM standby.

1Keep pressing the T button 9until the required 2H, 24H or OFF option is highlighted.

The unit can record 14 traffic messages.

To listen to the stored traffic messages,

1press the T button 9.

2Press the softkey assigned to the TIM-INFOmenu item.
