Storing One Touch Dial
Numbers
1For FAX, press Function, 6, 1. For MFC, press Function, 1, 6, 1.
2Press the One Touch key where you want to store the number.
3Enter a number (up to 20 digits) and press Set.
4Enter a name (or leave it blank) and press Set.
5Press or to select FAX, TEL, or FAX/TEL and press Set.
6Press Stop.
Storing Speed Dial Numbers
1For FAX, press Function, 6, 2. For MFC, press Function, 1, 6, 2.

4Enter a name (or leave it blank) and press Set.
5Press or to select FAX, TEL, or FAX/TEL and press Set.
6Press Stop.

1Pick up the handset—
2When you hear the dial tone, press the One Touch key of the location you want to call—
Search/Speed Dial, press #, then press the
3To hang up, replace the handset.
Search/Speed Dial
1Press Search/Speed Dial, then enter the first letter of the name you’re looking for.
2Press or to search the memory.
3When the name is displayed, lift the handset—
4Press Start to dial. (If you pressed Hook to dial, pick up the handset when the other party answers.)
5To hang up, replace the handset.
Making Copies
Making a Single Copy
1Place the original face down in the ADF.
2Press Copy, then wait for five
seconds—
Sorting Multiple Copies
1Place the original face down in the ADF.
2Press Copy.
3Use the dial pad to enter the number of copies you want (up to 99).
4Wait five seconds—
Copy.
5Press or to select SORT (or STACK).
6Press Copy.
