6Use the dial pad to enter the name (up to 15 characters). You can use the chart of “Entering Text” in chapter 4 to help you enter letters–– OR––PressSetand go to Step 7 to store the number without a name.

7Press Set.

8The screen prompts you to select the type of number this is. Use Z or X to select the type you want.

FAX a fax number

TEL a telephone (voice) number

F/T both a fax and telephone number

9Press Set.

10Return to Step 3 to store another number––OR––PressStopto exit.

Be careful that One Touch and Super Tel-Index numbers are stored correctly. Incorrectly dialled numbers cause unnecessary inconvenience to others, network congestion and cost to you.

Print out the Quick-Dial List to make sure you have stored the correct numbers. This list will indicate the type of number: FAX, TEL or F/T.

Changing Stored Numbers as Super Tel-Index

1Press Menu, 6, 3. The screen prompts you to enter a location.

SELECT QUICKDIAL

2Press one of 4 upper Quick-Dial keys you want to change the registered number.

A:MOTHER

In case some numbers have been already stored to this key, the LCD will start showing from the empty box.

3Press Z or X to select the number/name you want to change.

4Press Set. The screen prompts you to enter a new number.

5Enter a new number.

6Press Set. The screen prompts you to enter the name with this number.
