2.Click on the appropriate selection in the Trap Status field to enable or disable traps for the selected port(s), as desired.

3.Click on 6-11 to save your changes.

Finding a Source Address

You can use the Manual background button to locate a source address in the list by the module and port through which it is communicating with the EMM-E6. This feature is especially useful when your device is very busy and your source address table is quite large.

NOTE

Note that each repeater channel maintains its own Source Address Table, and they are completely independent of one another; therefore, if you search for a source address communicating via Channel B from the Channel A Source Address List window, the result will be a “not found,” even though the address is connected to a port in the EMM- E6-controlled hub.

To find a source address:

1.Click mouse button 1 on Manual background in the Source Address List window (Figure 6-2, page 6-3); the Find Source Address window, Figure 6-5, will appear.
