Using the Action Menu

SQ1

Function: Returns the first quartile of the elements in a list.

Syntax: Q1 (List-1[, List-2] [ ) ]

“List-2” specifies the frequency of each element in “List-1”.

Example: To determine the first quartile of the elements in the list {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}

Menu Item: [Action][List-Calculation][Q1]

Example: To determine the first quartile of the elements in the list {1, 2, 3, 4}, whose respective frequencies are {4, 3, 2, 1}

Menu Item: [Action][List-Calculation][Q1]

SQ3

Function: Returns the third quartile of the elements in a list.

Syntax: Q3 (List-1[, List-2] [ ) ]

“List-2” specifies the frequency of each element in “List-1”.

Example: To determine the third quartile of the elements in the list {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}

Menu Item: [Action][List-Calculation][Q3]

Example: To determine the third quartile of the elements in the list {1, 2, 3, 4}, whose respective frequencies are {4, 3, 2, 1}

Spercentile

Function: Finds the nth percentile point in a list.

Syntax: percentile ( list, number )

Percentile = (minimum) + (maximum − minimum) × number where number is %.

SstdDev

Function: Returns the sample standard deviation of the elements in a list.

Syntax: stdDev (List [ ) ]

Example: To determine the sample standard deviation of the elements in the list {1, 2, 4}
