3.6.3Preparations
Before you install or replace the component, make the following preparations:
zConfirming the feasibility of the operation
—There are available spare parts of the component to be installed or replaced in the equipment warehouse. When the available spare parts are lacking, contact Emerson Network Power for help in time. For details on how to get help from Emerson Network Power, see Contacting Emerson Network Power for Technical Support on page 100.
—Make sure that the new component is in good condition, without defects such as oxidation, chemical corrosion, missing component, or transportation damage.
—By reading this document, you are familiar with how to install and replace the component and master the skills required by the operation.
zChecking the environment
Make sure that the shelf, power supply, temperature, and humidity meet the operating requirement for the blades and components. For details, refer to the respective system documentation.
