Operating Principles Printer Mechanism Operation 43SMALLER TRAILING-EDGE MARGIN

Like the Stylus COLOR 740, this model uses a new design to allow printing up

to the last 3mm by changing the design and position of the star-wheel gear .

The star-wheel gear assembly has been shifted 5degrees from directly on top

of the eject rollers towards the front paper guide. This change suppresses the

tailing edge of the paper so that the old minimum margin of 14mm has been

reduced to only 3mm.
