CURSORS READOUT

ΔT-RATIO/PHASE

First, the reference distance between the two cursors is set. This then is set to

100% (360°) by pressing the ΔT=100 % (360°) softkey. Changing the distance between the cursors now results in a % (°) reading of the reference.

-Press the softkey next to ΔT until ΔT-ratio (phase) is intensified.

-Set the time cursors to be exactly one signal period apart.

-Press the softkey next to ΔT=100% (360°).

In the cursor readout line of the screen, the value for ΔT is now ’ΔT=100%’ (ΔT=360°)

Observe that the 100% (360°) reference does not change when the TRACK control is turned.

-Adjust the cursors to a distance of half a signal period.

Now the ΔT in the readout area will read ’ΔT= 50%’ (ΔT=180°) This is the way to use the cursors for duty cycle measurements.
