This appendix supplies additional information about the RS-232 cable configurations between the oscilloscope and a connected device. The oscilloscope and most of the devices are Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) configurated.

The maximum Baud rate for the PM8277 and PM8278 plotters is

 

4800 baud. For a higher Baud rate you must use a hardware

 

handshake configuration.

NOTE:

The LQ1500 printer can have a 6-pole DIN connector with the

 

following connections:
