Turning on the MW lamp while calling a station

Turning on the MW lamp while talking to a covering station

You can turn on the message light on someone’s phone by pressing <CLME> when the phone is ringing or busy.

1Press <START>.

2Dial the desired station number.

3Press <CLME> when the phone is ringing or busy. The display confirms that the lamp was turned on and you hear confirmation tone (three short beeps).

If you call a station with coverage activated, you can still activate message waiting even if your call is answered by the covering station.
