Command Line Interface

CONFIG [option]

Sets switch, port, port threshold alarm, and zoning configuration parameters. See the Set Config command” on page 137.

LOG [option]

Specifies the type of entries to be entered in the event log. See the Set Log Command” on page 144.

PAGEBREAK [state]

Specifies how much information is displayed on the screen at a time according to the value given by [state]. This keyword does not require an admin session. [state] can be one of the following:

ON—Limits the display of information to 20 lines at a time. The page break functions affects the following commands: Alias (List, Members), Show (Alarm, Log), Zone (List, Members), Zoneset (List, Zones), Zoning (Active, List).

OFF—Allows continuous display of information without a break.

PORT [option]

Sets port state and speed for the specified port. The previous Set Config Port settings are restored after a switch reset or a reactivation of a switch configuration. See the Set Port command” on page 146.

SETUP [option]

Changes SNMP and system configuration settings. See the Set Setup command” on page 147.

SWITCH [state]

Changes the administrative state for all ports on the switch to the state given by [state]. The previous Set Config Switch settings are restored after a switch reset or a reactivation of a switch configuration. [state] can be one of the following:

ONLINE—Places all ports online

OFFLINE—Places all ports offline.

DIAGNOSTICS—Prepares all ports for testing.
