Energy usage drops to as little as 12 W while in low-power (PowerSave) mode. Not only does this save natural resources, but it also saves money without affecting the high performance of this printer. This product qualifies for ENERGY STAR. ENERGY STAR is a voluntary program established to encourage the development of energy-efficient office products. ENERGY STAR is a U.S. registered service mark of the U.S. EPA.
As an ENERGY STAR partner, Hewlett-Packard Company has determined that this product meets ENERGY STAR Guidelines for energy efficiency.
Toner Consumption
EconoMode uses significantly less toner, which may extend the life of the toner cartridge.
Paper use
You can request for a number of pages of your document to be printed on one page of paper. This N-up printing practice and the printer’s manual duplexing feature, two-sided printing, can reduce paper usage and the resulting demands on natural resources.
