Switching printer personalities
This printer features automatic personality (printer language) switching. In AUTO mode, the printer automatically detects the type of print job and configures its personality to accommodate that job. You also can change the personality mode to default to using PCL or PostScript Emulation (PS) exclusively.
To switch printer personality
1Press MENU until CONFIGURATION MENU displays.
2Press ITEM until PERSONALITY displays.
3Press VALUE until the appropriate setting displays.
4Press SELECT to save the setting.
5Press GO to return the printer to the READY state.
