TX Operation

Header

The header prints the sender machine name, fax number, date/time and page number at the top of the sheet at the remote location. This is required by the FCC in the USA and is regulated in other way in other countries. In the USA you will have one of the following options.

Inside the Body: This places the header in the first 5mm of the copy top. It does not shift the copy down. Some copy may be overwritten.

Outside the Body: This places the header in the first 5mm of the copy top. It then start the body below this. Depending on the remote machine settings one of three things happen: 1) because the copy is not a full page, the copy fits below the header at 100%, 2) the copy is reduced to fit the page, or 3) the copy is split into two pages at 100%.
