Changing the Paper Size

Note

❒Fan the paper before loading.

❒Straighten curled or warped pa- per before loading.

G While pressing the release lever, adjust the side guides to the new paper size.

❒When loading small quantities of paper, be careful not to squeeze the side guide in too tightly, as the paper will not feed properly.

H Lock the side lever.

I While pressing the release lever, adjust the back guide to the new paper size.

J Adjust the paper size selector to the new paper size.

To adjust the paper size to a size not indicated on the paper size selector

A Set the paper size selector to the p mark.

B Press the {User Tools/Counter}key.

CPress [System Settings].

DPress [Tray Paper Settings].

EPress [Tray Paper Size: Tray 1],

[Tray Paper Size: Tray 2], [Tray Pa-

per Size: Tray 3] or [Tray Paper

Size: Tray 4].

FSelect the required size, and then press [OK].

GPress [Exit] or the {User Tools/Coun- ter}key to exit User Tools.
