Canadian Department of Communications Compliance

Statement

This Class B digital apparatus meets all requirements of the Canadian

Interference-Causing Equipment Regulations (pursuant to ICES-003

Issue 2, Revision 1).

European Community Directive Conformance Statement

This product is in conformity with the protection requirements of EC

Council Dir ective 89/336 /EEC on the appr oximation of l aws of the

Member States relating to electro-magnetic compatibility. This product

satisfied the Class B limits of EN55022.

Battery Replacement

A lithium battery maintains system configuration information. In the

event that the battery fails to maintain system configuration information,

NECC recommends that th e ba ttery be replaced. For ba tt ery replacement

information, call th e NECC Technical Support C en t er (see Chapter 6 for

Technical Support C en t er information).

There is a danger of explosion if the battery is

incorrectly repla ced . Replace only with the sam e or eq uivalent type

recommended by the manufa cturer. Discard used bat teries according to

the manufacturer’s in structions.
