PS/2 Mouse Port
The system unit comes with a mouse port that supports a
PS/2®-compatible (personal system/2-compatible) mouse with a 6-pin
mini DIN connector.
Use this port to connect the PS/2 mouse shipped with your system.
PS/2 Keyboard Port
Your system un it comes with a ke yboard port tha t supports a standard
PS/2 101-key or 104-key keyboard with a 6-pin mini DIN connector.
Use this port t o connect th e PS / 2 keyboard sh ipped with your system.
VGA Monitor Connector
The system unit comes with a VGA connector on the rear of th e s ystem
unit.
Use this connector to conn ect an optional NEC Multi S ync® monitor, NEC
VistaScan™ monitor, or other VGA-compatible monit or with a 15-pin
connector. You can als o at ta ch a projector with a 15-pin con nector to this
connector.
The system supports simultaneous use of the LCD panel and an optional
monitor connected to th e VGA connector.
Printer Port
Use this port to connect a par allel printer with a 25- pin connector to the
system unit. The port is an enhanced capabilities port (ECP). It also
supports enhanced parallel port (EPP) bi-directional and uni-directional
protocols.
Serial Port
Attach a serial device with a 9-pin connector to this ser i al port. Serial
devices include a poin tin g device, serial print er , or a modem.
