5.7.5.3.8 Corner Cut

Do not use paper with corner cuts. It may invalidate your warranty.

If you choose to use corner cut paper, be sure to test it thoroughly. Follow these guidelines:

1Do not print within the shaded area adjoining a corner cut.

2Make sure that paper dust is not left on the paper.

3The perforation of the vertical/horizontal perforated line must not intersect with the corner cut to prevent the paper from peeling off. (The crossing position of the corner cut outline and the perforated line should be uncut.)

The carriage may be clogged with peeled-off paper.

4If a corner cut passes over the paper sensor, a false Paper End signal may result.

5The positions of corner cuts should be as given in the fig. below.
