Manually selecting the wireless band
You can use Select Band to search for service in a different frequency.
[ ! ] IMPORTANT You should only change this setting if a Verizon Wireless customer service representative recommends that you do so.
1.Press Phone

2.Open the menus

3.Choose Select Band from the Options menu.
4.Select the new band, if available.
5.Select OK.
