Sending information with Bluetooth wireless technology

Sending info over a Bluetooth wireless connection

In most applications you can send an individual entry or item such as a contact or a picture. You can also send all the entries in a category, such as all contacts in the Business category. When you send a category, the items within the category appear in the Unfiled category on the receiving device.

1.Go to Applications and select Bluetooth .

2.Select Bluetooth On.

3.Open an application.

4.Select the entry or category you want to send.

5.Open the menus .

6.Select Send from the leftmost menu.

7.Select Bluetooth, and then select OK.

8.Select the receiving device(s) in the Discovery Results View, and then select OK.

Tip

Bluetooth range is up to 30 feet in optimum environmental conditions. Performance and range may be affected by physical obstacles, radio interference from nearby electronic equipment, and other factors.

Tip

The Device Name in the Bluetooth app is the name other devices with Bluetooth wireless technology see when they connect to your smartphone. The default name is Palm Device. You can change this name if you want to.
