SYSTEM PAGE

The System page has the following guidelines:

NTP: Selects that the unit’s time be synchronized with the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server.

Date/Time: Allows you to select date and time format.

Server: Allows you select the NTP server.

Sound: Allows you configure the unit to issue a sound in response to the following:

Button: Sounds a single beep when a front panel or remote control button is pressed.

Alarm: Sounds a continuous beep approximately once per second until the alarm event is acknowledged.

Motion: Sounds a continuous beep approximately once per second until the motion event is acknowledged.

System: Sounds a single beep when a system action occurs.

NOTE: Events are acknowledged at the DX4104 server. Refer to the DX4104 Server Operation/Configuration manual for more information.

Update: Allows you to update the system software, PTZ protocols, and the update media.

User: Allows you to create and administer user accounts.

Hard Disk: Allows you select the HDD overwrite method and set the full-warning setting.

Log Out: Allows you to select the automatic user log off feature and time.
