Fourteen thousand (14,000) pieces per hour, depending on print mode, media size, number of address lines, and bar- code imprinting. The following throughput specifications are based on 18 characters per line, 10 point, three lines per ad- dress, and no barcode (color cartridge removed).

Destination Address Throughput

Three lines, 18 characters per line, no barcode, margin five inch (12.7 cm), black only, color print cartridge removed. (Refer to chart on page 3-3.)

FIM (Facing Identification Mark)

The printer is capable of printing an approved FIM barcode to the defined standards. FIM is used to “face” first class mail with certain types of IBI (information-based indicia) mail. NOTE: Pitney Bowes Envelope DesignerTM Plus software does not support the creation of FIM barcode.
