8.Press the (+) or (-) buttons to scroll through the selec- tions (1-15) and choose the number that represents the best horizontal alignment of the upper and lower lines (for the color and black cartridges, respectively).

9.Insert an envelope into the printer and press ENTER. The horizontal adjustment prompt displays and the sample shown on the next page prints on the envelope.
