Setting

Up A Job (continued)

4.Lower only the H-Blocks that come in direct contact with the material and let them touch the material.

5.Lock each separator in place. When lowering the H- Blocks, check that the material is between the sepa- rator tabs and the feed roller.

Setup Example Using #10 Envelopes:

1.When you set the feed gap for a #10 envelope, note that the width of the envelope will fall completely un- der the inside and middle H-Blocks, but only half way under the outer H-Block. Follow steps 2 through 4 to fix this.

2.Remove the sliding fence.

3.Place a second envelope next to the first, under the outer H-Block. Place the second envelope flap down with the short edge under the outer H-Block.

4.Lock the separator in place.

NOTE: If the separator gap is not set properly, the printer will misfeed.

If the gap is too big, the printer will feed doubles (two or more pieces at the same time).

If the gap is too small, material will jam at the feed roller entrance.
