Stairs20

Description	The active video area goes from full						black at the
	left edge of the screen to full white						at the right
	edge. There are six (6) steps. The step levels are
	7.5 (black), 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 IRE.

Test	Video gain linearity
Method	When viewed on a monitor’s screen, a black bar
	plus five (5) gray bars should be visible. There
	should be no color shifts and each of the bars
	should be uniform in color.
	The image also can be used with an oscilloscope
	or TV waveform analyzer to check the gain linearity
	and gamma correction of a video system.
