GAMmA correction factor

Command Syntax:

GAMA <factor>

Limits:

<factor> (floating point accepted)

 

min = 0.1

 

max = 10.0

Query Syntax:

GAMA?

Query Response:

<factor>

Description:

The GAMA command establishes the current analog video gamma

 

correction factor. The GAMA? query returns the current setting

 

of the gamma correction factor.

Other Required Cmds: Gamma correction must be enabled with the GAMC command in order to use the gamma correction factor The FMTU command instructs the generator to use the new setting. The ALLU command updates hardware to the new setting and redraws the test image.

GAMma Correction mode

GAMC <mode>

0 = disable (don’t correct)

 

1 = enable (correct)

Query Syntax:

GAMC?

Query Response:

<mode>

Description:

The GAMC command enables or disables application of the analog

 

video gamma correction factor. The GAMC? query can be used

 

to determine if the gamma correction factor is currently being

 

applied.

Other Required Cmds: The value used for gamma correction is set with the GAMA command. The FMTU command instructs the generator to use the new setting. The ALLU command updates hardware to the new setting and redraws the test image.
