Using AnyPageLite

Overview

AnyPage Lite is an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system. It transforms a scanned image (a picture) into a text. AnyPage Lite can start if Samsung SmarThru is installed already. Before starting AnyPage Lite, you must install Samsung SmarThu first. See page 1.1.

AnyPage Lite system performs the following operations to recognize a text.

1.Open a scanned image of a document. AnyPage Lite can load image files with BMP, PCX, DCX, JPG, or TIF extension.

2.Page layout analysis. The system segments and analyses the image and marks blocks as texts, pictures, and tables on the image.

3.Recognition.

4.Check and edit the recognition results. When the recognition is finished, you can check the recognized text with a built-in spelling check system, and edit the text if necessary.

5.Save the results. You can save the recognized results to a file, to a Clipboard, or send it by E-mail or fax using Samsung MailThru or Samsung FaxThru.
