Installation Chapter
Overview
This chapter explains general procedures for positioning the AIT library, connecting it to the host computer and turning on the library power. This chapter also explains initial setup. Installation and setup steps may vary depending on your system.
After turning on the power, make settings required to use the unit as explained in “Initial Setup” (page 22).
Unpacking
Note
You will need the box, packing materials and transport screw if you wish to move or transport the AIT library in the future. Retain them for future use.
1 Remove the AIT library from the box as indicated on the box.
Remove the packing materials, such as plastic covers and tapes.
