Interaction With

Other Features

To answer a call that is ringing on a specific user’s telephone:

1Pick up the handset.

2Press the Features soft button.

3Scroll to Pickup, Directed.

4Press Select.

5Dial the extension of the ringing telephone and press #. The call is directed to your telephone.

Using One-Touch Pickup:

1Pick up the handset.

2Press the Access button that you have assigned to Directed Pickup.

3Dial the extension number of the ringing telephone.

To answer a call that is ringing on a group member’s telephone:

1Pick up the handset.

2Press the Features soft button.

3Scroll to Pickup, Group.

4Press Select.

5Dial the group number of the ringing telephone and press #.

The call is directed to your telephone and call stops ringing on the other member phones. If multiple calls are ringing, the first call received is directed to your telephone.

This section describes how call pickup interacts with other VCX phone features. Note the following considerations:

Call Forwarding — If both the phone forwarding a call and the phone receiving the forwarded call belong to the same call pickup group, then any member of the group may answer the call.

Camp On — A call pickup group member or a directed call pickup user cannot answer a camp on callback call.
