MD Player Operation

Playing Mini-Disc (MD)IVA-M700R has a built-in MD player.
(When the MDA-5051R is connected with the
IVA-M700R/CVA-1005R, MDs can only be
played back.)

Press the SOURCE button.
The main menu appears on the display.
Rotate the rotary encoder and select "MD" from
the main menu, then press the rotary encoder
to execute the selection.
The MD player mode screen appears on the
display.
When an MD is iserted into the MD SLOT of the
IVA-M700R, with the label side up, the unit
starts to play the MD.
When an optional Alpine MD player is con-
nected, inserting an MD into the optional MD
player starts playback automatically.
Note: Before inserting an MD, use your finger
to feel around the MD cartridge. If you
feel any small bumps or irregularities,
remove them because these may cause
a malfunction or damage to the player.
