Press the SOURCE button.
The display shows the main menu screen.

Press the 6 (INTLZ) button.
The Initialization mode screen appears in the
display.

Rotate the rotary encoder and select "PTY31."
The Function Guide menu is displayed.

Press the 1 (OFF) or 2 (ON) button to select
the PTY31 Off or On mode.
In the PTY31 On mode, the unit will show
"ALARM" in the display when the unit receives
the PTY31 (Emergency Broadcast) signal.
Note: If emergency broadcast is received, the
unit changes to the radio mode even
while you are playing a source other than
radio.

When your selection has been made, press the
FUNC (RETURN) button to return to the main
menu screen.
