What Is Paging/Fax Forwarding?

Message Center mode provides the additional option of either Paging or Fax Forwarding after voice and fax messages have been received into the memory.

Incoming voice or fax

Incoming fax

The voice or fax message is stored in the Message Center memory.

Paging function is activated.

The MFC will dial the registered pager telephone number.

Once connected, the MFC dials your registered PIN number. (Personal ID number).

Your personal pager is activated.

The fax is stored in the Message Centermemory.

Fax Forwarding function is activated.

The registered Fax Forwarding number is dialed.

Once connected, the machine sends fax tones to another fax machine.

The machine sends stored fax from the memory to the forwarding location.

NOTICE

1.You can activate only Paging or Fax Forwarding; they are very similar features and can not be used simultaneously.

2.The Paging feature can be used in the limited modes of the Message Center, since it will page based upon receipt of messages into the memory.

3.If Paging is ON, you will be paged every time a voice or fax message is receivedinto memory.
