3)Gentlyturntheleveronthetoner cartridgeforwarduntilitstops.The tonercartridgecannotberemoved unless the shutter is completely closed,byturningtheleverfullyto thefront.

4)Remove the old toner cartridge from the drum unit by gently pullingitout.

WARNING

Handle the toner cartridge carefully.Iftonerscattersonyour hands or clothes, immediately wipe it off or wash it with cold water.

5)Unpack the new toner cartridge. Placetheusedtonercartridgeinto the aluminum bag and discard it accordingtolocalregulations.

WARNING

•Wait to unpack the toner cartridge until immediately before you install it into the machine.Ifatonercartridgeis leftunpackedforalongperiod of time, the toner life is shortened.

•You can use only a genuine Brother toner cartridge (TN-5000PF series) which is specially formulated to ensure top print quality. Using another brand of toner cartridge could void your machine’s warranty.
