Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-103: Fatal error: Connection to the EMS server was lost. The application will be shut down.

Recommended Action Restart the application after verifying that the Cisco MGM server is operational and available from the client LAN.

Error Message EID-104: Cisco MGM internal error: Invalid help URL.

Recommended Action Contact your service provider or Cisco technical support.

Error Message EID-105: This user is currently logged in. Second connection to the EMS server is not allowed.

Recommended Action If you know where you are logged in currently, close that session. If you do not know where you are logged in, ask the administrator to end the session. After the session ends, start a new session.

Error Message EID-106: Fatal error: Cannot initialize database connection. Verify that the EMS database is operational.

Recommended Action Ask the administrator to check the database configuration. Contact Cisco technical support if the you cannot find problems with the database.

Error Message EID-107: Cannot launch a JVM for help.

Recommended Action Xterm is missing from the Sun Solaris path. Edit the ems-client.cfg file and provide the correct xterm path.

Alternately, there might not be enough memory to launch a separate help process. Shut down some applications to free memory.

Error Message EID-108: The administrator has logged out your session. The MGM client will be closed.

Recommended Action Try relogging into Cisco MGM client.

Error Message EID-109: Could not log back into MGM server. Cannot start server.

Recommended Action Run the showmgm command to see what Cisco MGM server processes are running. Restart the Cisco MGM server using the mgms-startcommand.

Error Message EID-110: Could not log back into MGM standby server(s).

Recommended Action Cisco MGM client cannot connect to the servers listed in Control Panel > Recovery Properties > Server Lists. Ping the IP address of the server that you are trying to connect to.
