Cisco MGM Client Error and Warning Messages

Error Message EID-733: The node is not available or there are no available physical termination points for the given link size.

Recommended Action All link termination points have links for the specified link size. Delete existing links and perform the operation again.

Error Message EID-735: Create link action was not completed or was partially

completed for link: link_ID.

Recommended Action A link already exists with the same name. Create a link with a unique name.

Error Message EID-736: Modify link action was not completed or was partially

completed for link: link_ID.

Recommended Action A link already exists with the same name. Create a link with a unique name.

Error Message EID-738: Cannot create a link with link name name. Verify that both source and destination NEs are in the same network partition.

Recommended Action Verify that both the source and destination NEs belong to the same network partition.

Error Message EID-739: Cannot retrieve possible link sizes or link protection information.

Recommended Action Cannot retrieve possible link sizes on the node. Check if the node is In Service.

Error Message EID-740: A link is already created with this PTP. Enter a different PTP value to proceed.

Recommended Action Enter a different Physical Termination Point (PTP) value.

Error Message EID-741: Error occurred while retrieving PTP information through CORBA for the unmanaged NE.

Recommended Action CORBA exception occurred. Check if the node is In Service. For more information, contact Cisco’s Technical Support.

Error Message EID-742: The Link Rate/Protection Type selected is not supported by UnmanagedNE. Choose ‘Not Applicable’ and recreate the link.

Recommended Action Select Not Applicable as the link rate or protection type and retry. If the problem persists, contact Cisco technical support.
