Cisco MGM Server Error Messages

Error Message EID-606: Active alarm recovery looping for NE ID.

Recommended Action The Cisco MGM server cannot recover the active or standing alarms on the NE because of a loop in the SNMP agent on the NE. Restart the NE.

Error Message EID-801: Failed to connect to a socket.

Recommended Action The MGMServer.cfg file has been corrupted. Reinstall the Cisco MGM server.

Error Message EID-803: Invalid write errno = error_number_from_file

/usr/include/sys/errno.h, size_to_write = size, wrote number bytes.

Recommended Action This is an internal socket error. Data to the OSS overflowed, but the error will be corrected automatically.

Error Message EID-803: Error while getting card list from server.

Recommended Action This error is shown because the selected NEs do not have ML-series cards available for topology creation or because the ML-series cards are out of service. Check whether the ML-series cards in the selected NEs are active or not.

Error Message EID-804: Invalid read errno = error_number_from_file

/usr/include/sys/errno.h, size_to_read = size.

Recommended Action This is an internal socket error. Check network connectivity.

Error Message EID-808: Selected NEs/Group NEs are in different network partition.

Recommended Action You are not allowed to create an L2 topology with NEs in different network partitions. Move the NEs to the same network partition.

Error Message EID-809: Circuit creation failed between endpoints.

Recommended Action Create circuits using Cisco MGM Circuit Creation wizard.

Error Message EID-810: RPR got created partially because creation of some member circuit failed.

Recommended Action Create the member circuits using the L2 topology point-to-point Circuit

Creation wizard.

Error Message EID-818: Please select a topology to view the circuits in the topology.

Recommended Action Select a different topology.
